“My wife and I decided on the fly to run out for supper Sunday evening. I said, hey, let's try the new German place. Since her Oma was German and she loves German food, she readily agreed. We loved it! We dined inside because it was raining. It was cozy and nice. We started with a pretzel and, without a doubt, the best either of us ever tasted, even in Munich. Plus it was huge! We both had schnitzel, mashed potatoes with gravy, and red cabbage. Instead of being whipped completely smooth, the mash had chunks in it, which I really like. All delicious. While we were dining, the chef came out of the kitchen with a small bowl of a new German potato salad he was testing. So good! The young lady who waited on us was attentive, prompt, and friendly. Our meal came to around $60 and included the tip. Not bad, considering the pricey meals everywhere else here, a lot of which are just, meh. As a bonus, they even had classic rock playing. Winner! We'd definitely return. It'd be fun to go with a larger group and dine in the beautiful Biergarten.”
